Sloppy Champagne

I went to Steamboat Springs this past weekend for a snowboarding trip. There were 8 of us and we were stoked to try out some of their "champagne" powder. Well, lady luck was not with us. It was raining when we got there Friday night. It also rained Saturday night. Sunday morning it was 32 degrees at 8am. We decided to head to Summit county instead, and got better powder at Keystone. This may be lost on folks not familiar with normal Colorado ski conditions, but this is a very unlikely scenario. We still had a great time, but it was a bit of a bummer that the snow was all heavy and stuff. At least there was some new snow - it was much needed after a week of nothing. Plus Keystone is finally ridable! This is very good news :).
